Wild Pig Pre-Con update and Cherri Creeper Pinup!

Wild Pig was a great time, thanks to everyone that said Hello! I was super busy the entire time. Between chatting and working on commissions, I was a booked up busy-bee. Again thanks to everyone that has and is still supporting my art. I truly do appreciate it!

I got to thinking while I was at Wild Pig that weekend, I'm finding that I need to find a new way to balance things ( personally ) when I do shows. I get so overworked in completing pre-order commissions, new merch, and working the day job-it's been taking it's toll. How? For example, I fall asleep to recuperate instead of joining my peers in the night's social events. It's just something I've noticed over the past few years and has been apparent with each show I do. I suppose that's the life of an artist. ( and getting older ) But I hope to make some changes to re-adjust that, after all that's one of the best things when going to a show- catching up with friends!

Several people ask me what shows I'm doing this year. I've been kind of up in the air with what shows are on my agenda. The next is absolutely Baltimore Comic con! But as for other shows? Not so sure. I'm in another transition period (yet again) in my life with a new job, taking on more freelance work, and trying to work on the third issue of the Key. I really want to concentrate on getting more art out there. Unfortunately that means less time out and more time in, trying to complete everything in a timely manner. That being said, I may do some smaller shows here and there, but it looks as of right now I may only be doing the Baltimore show.

But enough about that, check out some work I did for the show!

Crazy Cat Lady from the Simpsons as Catwoman
Silver Age Mademoiselle Marie
Selina from Underworld

Steve Rodgers
Batgirl
My first sketch comic cover! Kitty Pryde.

Other news! Recently did a new pinup piece for Holly Golightly's School Bites webcomic! The character's name is Cherri Creeper and you can check her out at www.schoolbites.net. It's an awesome webcomic, based on vampires/harry potter-ish themes. There's more to it than that, but that's pretty much the gist of it. I said vampires, isn't that enough to go check it out?
